Parenting Enrichment Program
His Sheltering Arms, Inc. & Thug Child Consulting has collaborated to provide free parenting classes for the South Los Angeles Community. The Parenting Enrichment Program provides parents with a safe, interactive, and real-talk environment for parents to grow and learn to nurture healing in their families. Classes cover topics such as self-care, stress & anger management, communication skills, child development, discipline, and more.

Certificates and letters of completion are provided with successful completion.
Requirements for Enrollment
This program is offered at no charge to the participants. All we ask is for the participant's commitment to the program. If too many classes are missed, the participant may be dis-enrolled and offered to enroll again during the next enrollment period.

Do I receive an enrollment letter?

We do not give out enrollment letters. We do give progress letters after the parent has participated in at east three classes. If something is needed before that time, we ask the the parent discuss their particular circumstance with the instructor.
I don't have a baby-sitter. Can I bring my children to class?

We do not allow parents to bring their children, of any age, to class.
Do I receive a certificate after I complete the program?

Yes. After the completion of requirements, the graduating parent will receive a certificate along with a formal letter of completion.
